Objective:
To skillfully practice penetration tests on information systems.
Practical exercises provide a hands-on experience of the principal current security systems. Trainees shall be able to understand the mechanisms of perimeterical defense before scanning and tackling them. Students then learn how to acquire privileges and which actions must be implemented to secure a system. The training also discusses penetration detection, the establishment of a security policy, social engineering, management of incidents and log interpretation.

Prerequisite:
- Basic TCP/IP, Windows and Linux knowledge
- Two years experience in computer security
The training includes:
- Course books
- Lab materials
- text book on concepts and definitions of information security systems
- questions / answers booklet for each module
- workstation with Internet access for each trainee
- DVDs with tools
- Voucher for online CPTE and CPTC examination
- 2 H mock exam

General informations:
The sessions involve from 6 to 12 people to the most. A session is postponed if the number of trainees is less than 6.
Timing: 9 a.m. to 12 a.m. and 1 p.m. to 5: 30 pm. Duration: 5 days
