Systems and component integration

In botany as in medicine, successful transplant requires to be careful in matching the graft and the stock. In cognitive matter, as Monique Corriveau says: "what we really remember is what's entirely integrated into our knowledge". Considering information systems, rejection can occur - in particular from users - so, if we remember harmonious integrations, we also retain, and in a crushing way, projects which fail to meet their goals.

Integration of a solution or component in a computer system has become a key issue in a competitive economic context. It requires implementing solutions with a high level service within restrained deadlines and more limited budgets (Time To Market, ROI).

A Successful integration in an information system whose complexity tends to grow means taking into account, as of the stage of design to the one of running, criteria of exploitability, security, industrialization, commitment to service, maintainability, and upgradability; in other word, to have an architectural vision that is more oriented towards the enterprise than to the solution itself.

Application of quality standards and good practices being in force for several decades in industrial sectors are essential assets as to the conducting of an integration project.

Whether for an application, software package, an infrastructure or a technical component, integration is not only a simple variance analysis of a not well-informed or mastered standard, on unit tests in a standalone context or supply of interfaces.

Agilecom shares its experience on major integration projects and programs and may also accompany you to bring to fruition your integration projects.
